Known as the jewel of the city, the park boasts 45 hectares (111 acres) of prime parkland, with a multitude of active and passive uses.

Currently under construction and not a fan of petting zoos but beautiful trees in the summer and fall, playgrounds, and soccer fields all in the park. Short trails for quick lunch time walks. Winter light show is cute enough. Wish there was more of it though. Could be bigger for a growing city. Could be easily overcrowded.

Nice little area beside the lake. Kids love the splash pad and playground in the summer. Nice place to hang out for a picnic or go for a stroll.
